World Heavy Weight UFC Champion Francis N’gannou Stripped off  His UFC Title

The world of UFC fighting has been rocked as Francis N’gannou, the Cameroonian powerhouse, has become a free agent after being laid off by the UFC sport sector. The announcement was made by Diana White at the UFC Vegas 67 post-fight press conference on Saturday, January 14th, 2023.

This news comes as a shock to many, especially after Jon Jones expressed his willingness to face any heavyweight for the title. The UFC even went as far as offering N’gannou a contract that would make him the highest paid heavyweight in UFC history, yet he turned it down.

We offered Francis a deal that would’ve made him the highest paid heavyweight in the history of the company but he turn it down” Dana White

The stakes are high in the world of UFC, and with no African currently holding any championship titles, it seems that the reign of African fighters in the sport may be coming to an end. As fans anxiously wait to see what the future holds for N’gannou and the rest of the UFC fighters, one thing is for sure: the world of UFC fighting is never short on drama and excitement.
