Coman, Tchouameni and Muani Now victims of Racist Abuse

The pressure was on for Tchouameni, Coman, and Kolo Muani as they faced the crucial moments of the World Cup. But when they missed their shots, French fans took to social media to unleash a barrage of racist abuse. Monkey and ape emojis flooded their Instagram comment sections, forcing them to shut down the feature altogether.

It’s a heartbreaking reality for these players who have given their all for France, only to be met with such vile hatred based on the color of their skin. And they’re not alone – the entire French team is made up of black players from various African nations.

It’s a stark reminder that in France, winning is everything. Once you lose, you become a target for racist abuse from all corners. It’s a cruel reality that African players must face, no matter how much they sacrifice for their team.

But perhaps it’s time for Africans to wake up and realize that there’s no place like home. Cameroon may not have made it out of the group stage, but their fans still celebrated them with pride. In a world where racism seems to be an insurmountable issue, it’s important to remember that our homes and our communities can offer us the love and support we need to thrive.
