FECAFOOT and Coq Sportive Pathways.

In a stunning move, FECAFOOT announced on Friday, July 1st, that they were cutting ties with French sport equipment manufacturer Coq Sportive. The decision was made after careful consideration and will come into effect following the women’s African cup of nations in 2022, leaving Coq Sportive reeling from the unexpected blow.

Having taken over from Puma in 2019 as the primary producer of Cameroon’s sports gear, Coq Sportive had been eagerly anticipating a bright future with the national team. However, their hopes were dashed by FECAFOOT’s decision to terminate the partnership.

Now, former producers Puma and Adidas are vying for the coveted position of becoming Cameroon’s new official kit manufacturer. With both brands having enjoyed immense success with the national team in the past, the competition is sure to be fierce. Who will emerge victorious in this battle for sporting supremacy? Only time will tell.
